Description
Piping systems are used to convey fluids such as potable water, gas, oil, steam, compressed air, and process water. These fluids are used for heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, power generation, and many industrial processes. Pipes, fittings, and valves are used in these piping systems to convey these fluids safely from their source to their point f use. Pipes, fittings, and valves are made of a variety of materials. Each has certain advantages, depending on the specific application. Proper selection of these components and their material composition will result in a proper installation, with minimum maintenance headaches.
