Description
There is much more to being an accomplished plumber or pipe fitter than merely knowing how to repair a leaky pipe. Skill in using the tools of the trade is extremely important. Equally vital is a current knowledge of the codes, standards, licensing procedures, and so forth used in the trades of plumbing and pipe fitting. Plumbers and pipe fitters must also know how the different types of drawings are used to represent building components and systems. This study unit will instruct you in all of these areas and will then conclude with a brief description of the more common types of plumbing and piping systems.
