Description
This course module is devoted to Part 2 of Treatment Unit Control, and is the third course in the Basic Wastewater Training Program. In this course we will describe the secondary process control methodology and how to properly troubleshoot the system. We will go through the Activated Sludge Process and Control Troubleshooting Chart step by step, and this same troubleshooting chart will continue in the next course. The course will conclude with a summary of the first part of the chart.

In this course, we will learn about the Treatment Unit Control Troubleshooting Guide. Here is an overview of some of the items we will learn, the secondary process control methodology, how to use the troubleshooting chart, and go over the first of two parts of the secondary process troubleshooting guide.

This course is available for staff and enhancing operator professionalism of operators working at the Philadelphia Water Department.
