Description
This course module is devoted to Maintenance, and is the sixth course in the Basic Wastewater Training Program. First, we will give an introduction to maintaining the system to keep it in good, working order. Then we will review the maintenance required for the pumping equipment including control panel power lock-out for safety when maintaining the system. The next section will go into detail about the maintenance procedures required for the aeration equipment, which includes aeration blowers, motors, and piping. Next, we will discuss infrastructure maintenance which includes keeping the equipment protected and the operators safe. The course will conclude with a summary of topics from each section.
