Description
This course module is devoted to Part 4 of Treatment Unit Control, and is the fifth course in the Basic Wastewater Training Program. The course will begin with an introduction to control of the tertiary stage. Then, we will go into detail about the control procedures for the dosing tank and sand filter, which includes a discussion of the life expectancy of the sand filter. Next, we will cover control of the disinfection process, including a description of ultra-violet treatment. Then, we will discuss control procedures for the post-aeration process. We will then cover the controls for the solids handling stage. The course will conclude with a summary of topics from throughout the course.
