Description
This course is devoted to the isolation and pressure relief valves that serve the waste gas burners for the digesters at the Philadelphia PWD. In this course, we will be taking a look at two separate pieces of equipment: the DeZURIK-made pneumatically powered isolation butterfly valve, and the Varec 440 Series Pressure Relief and Flame Trap Assembly. We will discuss the working components of these devices, as well as safety, operation, maintenance, and common troubleshooting procedures.
